13:45 Cheltenham – Samarrive

Samarrive hosed up over 2m on good ground at Kempton in April and he should have too much speed for these.

14:00 Newbury – Light Infantry

Light Infantry‘s only run was an easy win last month at Yarmouth and the horse he beat, High Velocity, came out and won next time. Hopefully he is a decent sort.

14:20 Cheltenham – Jersey Bean

Jersey Bean loves good ground and has won after a break before. He won at Cheltenham in April, which was his last run.

14:35 Newbury – Ilaraab

Ilaraab is obviously a bit better than the results suggest, having been well fancied a few times. I’m taking a chance that he can finish his season on a high.

14:55 Cheltenham – I Like To Move It

Nigel Twiston-Davies and co. are a local stable in form and had a nice win a couple of weeks ago to get the season up and running. Hopefully they can get another one here with I Like To Move It.

15:15 Doncaster – Luxembourg

Luxembourg won really easily at the Curragh last month and has less miles on the clock than some of the others.

15:30 Cheltenham – Leapaway

Leapaway probably won’t beat some of these later in the season but could easily catch them cold with race fitness on his side on Saturday.

15:50 Doncaster – Parisiac

Parisiac sprung a surprise first time out when winning at a big price despite running green and a bit all over the shop. Hopefully he’s learned plenty from that and it was no fluke.

16:05 Cheltenham – Tullybeg

The conditions look ideal and Tullybeg seems to be improving after every run. It’s an open race but he has every chance.

16:20 Doncaster – Raasel

Raasel is on a roll and likes soft ground. It’s a 5f handicap so obviously a bit of a lottery but there’s plenty to like about him.
