This looks an ordinary race for the novice category and perhaps PERFECT ATTITUDE can build on a debut maiden hurdle win at Clonmel. His stablemate Fakir D’Alene could pose a threat along with The Dara Man who makes most appeal of a John Ryan-trained trio.
14:30 – Lord Gillygooley
Recent Clonmel winner LORD GILLYGOOLEY seems to be getting his act together and can follow up off his revised mark. Norman Lee’s pair Oskar High and Not So Simple are possible dangers, along with the progressive Mullaghmore Wave and Shestherightone.
15:05 – Temptationinmilan
TEMPTATIONINMILAN is the selection in a weak race though he needs to get in. Few appeal. Appian Way is anomalous in that he has a fine pedigree, is only five, likes it here and ran a blinder last time, with Bryan Cooper booked now.
15:40 – Bleu Berry
Three top stables involved. 2018 Coral Cup winner BLEU BERRY has been a latecomer to chasing. He won well at Listowel and can beat his two much younger rivals.
16:15 – Poseidon
Flat and hurdles winner POSEIDON looks interesting in his first handicap, being much less exposed than the likes of recent Galway winner Bridge Native and The West’s Awake.
16:50 – Suain Na Draoicht
A race of little betting appeal. SUAIN NA DRAOICHT is a tentative choice for the Byrnes yard. Copper Nation is a nice filly, likely to face pressure up top.
