Thunderstruck and Trincomalee are feared most in that order, though Litterale Ci should give it another good shot back up in trip for a yard that won this last year. Another to consider is six-time hurdle winner Bannixtown Glory, who could find more progress back in this sphere on her return.

Although he doesn’t make life easy for himself, NO NO MAESTRO (NAP) has won his latest two starts and still looks attractively handicapped. Colours Of My Life is a shot in the dark, but may be next best with Gats And Co also considered.

The pair at the top of the handicap are worthy contenders, especially Orchard Grove, who may have further progress in him. Crane will be a real threat if cheekpieces focus his attention. However, preference is for EARLY MORNING DEW, a market springer when only just denied over course and distance recently.

Both Presenting Nelly and Talk Of The Moon (preferred in that order) could be good enough on debut, but LADY EXCALIBUR won so easily at Stratford that she may be able to defy the penalty.
