Lucky 15 tips today: Friday’s best bets from our top pundits

It’s a Super smash up of ITV Racing on Friday and we’re after one thing ….. winners. So we’ve asked our top pundits of Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald, Jason Weaver and Ruby to put their best bets today into a Lucky 15. And guess what – they have!

14:45 Chepstow – Luttrell Lad (Mick Fitzgerald)

“He ran a nice race at Aintree when fourth to the smart Knappers Hill (who runs earlier) to cap a season where he’d already won twice. LUTTRELL LAD has already run this season – winning at Worcester – and it’s usually a positive to come into a contest like this with a run under your belt. Trainer Philip Hobbs has won this contest before with the likes of Bonanza Boy back in the day and Thyme Hill two years ago”.

15:00 Newmarket – Chindit (Jason Weaver)

It now seems a long time since that reappearance debut success at Newbury, but things just haven’t gone right for this colt since and could have a very good opportunity to get his head in front again.

He got going a little bit too late at Goodwood last time when fourth in the Celebration Mile, but will be positioned to attack at the bottom of the dip this time, especially as it’s a track he knows very well. An eye-catching run when staying on in the 2,000 Guineas last May and a reproduction of that form will make CHINDIT very tough to beat now.

15:35 Newmarket – Inspiral (Matt Chapman)

Class race in the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile over 1m. This won’t take long as INSPIRAL has to be the selection for the Gosdens and Frankie Dettori. The May Hill winner is unbeaten in three starts for Cheveley Park Stud and already looks like a likely winner of next year’s 1000 Guineas. It’s a good renewal but Inspiral is expected to pass the test.
