HEDGING is tipped coming from for the Eve Johnson Houghton yard which is having a decent spell, he was also the winner of this race two years ago on a far higher mark.

Jordan Gainford’s 5lbs claim swings this race firmly in the direction of joint top-weight BRIDGE NATIVE, but it’s fair to say it looks wide open. However, Bridge Native had her fellow ten-year-old Winter Escape well in arrears in a fourth-placed effort at Galway back in July. Goodbye Someday is intriguing entering his first handicap, but still has convincing to do over fences.

17:05 Leicester – Cape Columbus

This contest looks like it will be decided between CAPE COLUMBUS and Some Nightmare, that’s as long as their draws furthest away from the stands’ rail don’t hinder their respective prospects.

Our selection ran to an RPR of 73 in two of his three novice/maiden starts, those runs were behind a pair of useful sorts on debut on soft ground and when badly placed coming in off a 118-day break in his latest out. Some Nightmare can’t be ruled out though.

18:00 Kempton – My Dubawi

Even after taking yet another 6lbs rise in the weights, a hat-trick is a distinct possibility for Odisseo given the form Marco Botti’s colt has been in. However, we’d suggest taking a chance on MY DUBAWI. He may not have moved on from a promising debut, but the breeding suggests he may take a step forward on this new surface and he has the bonus of being well drawn here.
