So, we decided to put that great guide to the test and use it to point you in the direction of what could be a lively Lucky 15 if it lands for us today. Let’s get to the bets…

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:00 Lingfield – King Cabo

Luke Dace’s colt KING CABO has form in the book and will hopefully come in from a debut run at Kempton last month. Nations Pride was a runner-up a Yarmouth and has obvious claims. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he went better here either. Luis Fernando could also be a danger in the field.

15:44 Pontefract – Fauvette

The four-year-old FAUVETTE looked a horse worth following when winning with a bit in hand at Yarmouth last month and a 5lbs rise might just underestimate this lightly raced filly from the Rae Guest yard.

The testing ground that is forecasted is a positive for Marvel and Follow Your Heart, while it would be silly not to put Motawaazy on the shortlist. Captain Jameson and Patsy Fagan both land in Pontefract on good form, and Penny Pot Lane and Mr Orange cannot be dismissed over this course and distance.

15:52 Stratford – Lost In Montmartre

The Alastair Ralph-trained LOST IN MONTMARTRE third at Bangor last week behind Richie Valentine who re-opposes here, but she is taken to grab revenge on the revised terms. The softer ground should also help her cause.

19:00 Wolverhampton – Recuerdame

There could well be more to come from Oot Ma Way now that she has a first win under her belt, but preference is for Simon Dow’s RECUERDAME. The recently returned five-year-old is back from a break over the summer and is taken to come on from a pipe opener at Lincoln to take advantage of a handy mark. Broughtons Chief can’t be counted out, while support in the betting markets for Inexplicable or Macocha would be intriguing.
