13:39 – Auntie Margaret
AUNTIE MARGARET showed fairly useful form when third on her latest outing at Haydock, sticking to her task well to be beaten just a head and a neck in a bunched finish. That form comfortably sets the standard here on Timeform’s weight-adjusted ratings, so Auntie Margaret rates a solid selection to get off the mark now stepping up in trip.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
14:14 – Aleezdancer
ALEEZDANCER shaped well when fourth in a nursery at Ayr last time, faring by some way the best of the high-drawn runners. He was beaten only three and a half lengths and certainly showed enough to suggest he is on a good mark. His effectiveness on soft going also gives cause for optimism and he is very much one to be interested in.
14:44 – Under Fox
UNDER FOX produced a career best to resume winning ways at Hamilton two weeks ago, forging clear inside the final furlong to win by over two lengths. This will be tougher from a 4 lb higher mark, but he is clearly going the right way for Tim Easterby, who continues in top form with 15 winners in the last 14 days. Under Fox is fancied to add to that tally here with a third career success.
15:14 – First Account
FIRST ACCOUNT has shown only fair form in three starts on the Flat, but there should be more to come from him now stepping up markedly in trip for his handicap debut. He is also refitted with a visor and the pick of his efforts over hurdles suggest a BHA mark of 62 won’t prove beyond him when putting it all together on the Flat.

15:44 – Run This Way
RUN THIS WAY caught the eye when last seen finishing fourth at Carlisle in August, staying on well from a poor position to be beaten less than two lengths. She is 1 lb lower in the weights here and it’s worth remembering that she has been competitive from much higher marks earlier in her career. This will be just her third start for the Paul Midgley yard and she is one to keep on the right side.
16:15 – Indefatigable
INDEFATIGABLE is a smart hurdler who should prove well up to winning a race of this nature on the Flat. She was well beaten on her only previous start on the level, but that was a listed race and this is just an ordinary maiden. Most of her rivals look exposed and it will be disappointing if she can’t come out on top, with the booking of Ben Curtis also catching the eye.
16:45 – Little Jo
LITTLE JO has failed to trouble the judge on his last three starts, but this looks a more suitable opportunity and he is fancied to get back on track. A winner over this course and distance earlier in his career, he is now 3 lb lower in the weights than when also finishing second here in August. He will be suited by the return to softer conditions and a bold bid is expected.
17:15 – Coase
COASE ran right up to his best when filling the runner-up spot at Ayr six days ago, keeping on well to be beaten just three quarters of a length behind a thriving rival. He can race from the same mark here and looks to hold obvious claims if arriving in the same sort of form. The addition of a first-time visor could also give him the edge he needs to resume winning ways.
