Andre Fabre said Raclette is the best he’s ever trained, so he must be pretty good! Also, the race isn’t the strongest.

13:50 – Ebro River

Ebro River will rightly go off a shortish favourite as he handles soft ground really well and his form held up in Newmarket last week.

I have to forgive Snowfall‘s one defeat last time as the ground was fast and it was a prep race with no pace to aim at. The Oaks was soft ground and a strong pace and she was awesome. I could see the same again.

15:50 – Burgarita

Burgarita ran in the race Snowfall was beaten in and similarly wants it softer. The second to Free Wind last month looks pretty decent form too.

16:25 – Romantic Proposal

This is a mad race that can throw up head scratching results. Romantic Proposal was very good in the Curragh and stays at 6f so she should see out a very soft ground 5f very well.

17:00 – Sagamiyra

Sagamiyra won very impressively on trials day here and was second to Mother Earth too which looks good form. Most importantly she’s a 7f specialist.
