Cute Cherry is interesting on handicap debut and So Near So Farhh won well last time out, but preference is for course specialist QUARRY LIL. She’s on a career high mark but she has three wins from five starts at this venue and should come on from her reappearance earlier in the month.

14:15 Fleurys Fort

A few in with claims, but FLEURYS FORT shaped with promise when staying on for fourth at Listowel last week and he warrants respect from 5lbs below his last winning mark. Arrycan is a danger to all from his much-reduced hurdles mark and Hophornbeam seems on a good mark for his handicap debut.

14:50 Mezyan

This is wide-open, but it might be worth chancing MEZYAN who is feasibly handicapped on his best efforts and shaped like a return to form may be imminent last time out. Ask The Leader should be in the mix again and similar can be said for The Holmeister provided he handles the drop back in trip.

15:25 Mahlers Dollar

Several with chances, but perhaps worth taking a chance on the fitness of MAHLERS DOLLAR. His course and distance third back in January reads well, albeit that came on heavy ground, although the selection also has decent bumper form on good ground.

Ed The Red and Wild Shot look the biggest threats from those with previous hurdling experience, while both Perfect Attitude and Golden Cosmos have shown enough in bumpers to suggest they could have a future at this discipline.

16:00 Lord Gillygooley

Due to go up 2lbs in future events after finishing a clear second at Listowel last Friday, LORD GILLYGOOLEY (NAP) can go one better here, chiefly at the expense of recent Navan scorer Yamato. Anno Maximo is a potential improver upped in trip, while Mutual Respect could have more to offer.

16:35 Sam’s Choice

It was a promising debut from SAM’S CHOICE in 2020 and while he didn’t build on that when last seen a year ago, he warrants respect at this level on his return. The consistent Kilbarry Chianti should be involved for the places again and similar can be said for State Of Honor who outran her odds on debut. Any support for The Friday Man would make that one interesting for a yard with a good strike-rate in bumpers.
