Blyton and Basrah Breeze have run with credit in races at this venue and appeal as place possibilities. Sahreej, a very long time without a win, also makes some appeal.

There could be more improvement to come from PIMSTREL, who won readily from the front at Listowel and may cope with an 11lbs rise. Despite a Listowel failure Skontonovski holds a leading chance. Blankiedoodie and The Bog Bank have run well at the venue this season and could feature.
15:35 Stormy Jenn
Colin Keane is back aboard STORMY JENN on whom he won at Gowran last month. She needs strong handling and the booking is significant. Course and distance winners Fictitious Lady, given a brilliant ride by Billy Lee last time, and the generally reliable Red Heel may prove the pick of the opposition.
16:05 Special Power
The 81-rated SPECIAL POWER has been placed on all four starts and should be able to exploit this opportunity. Takana has shown ability, but the main threat may come from El Magnifique, sharpened by a barrier trial visit to Dundalk.
16:35 Tide Of Time
Though Only Spoofing is a quality sprint handicapper and is taking a drop in class today, TIDE OF TIME has proven course form and that can give him the edge today. Dandy Spirit and Hathiq are closely matched with him on form.
17:05 Goodnight Kiss
With a rating of 82, Zaynudin is the one to beat on figures, but he was underwhelming as favourite last time in a race with mixed form messages. GOODNIGHT KISS is worth chancing for a yard that continues in fine form, with the step-up to this trip likely to bring about improvement. Vinland and Scrum Half won’t be far away.
17:40 Cask Mate
A Grade 1-placed hurdler, CASK MATE should be able to take care of these. He has twice won when coming back after a break. Away To Sea has some decent runs to his name and can go close, while Acleanpairofhooves is a recent bumper winner, so is also respected. Victory Road is a fascinating contender for whom market support would be significant.
