Technique has run with great credit on her last three starts and she ought to be in the thick of it once again. Sweet Believer and Ville De Grace may do better stepping up to 1m2f while Brunnera should appreciate returning to the distance after a fair run over 1m4f last month. AUNTY BRIDY has taken a while to find her feet for William Haggas but her latest York fourth represented a big step back in the right direction and she could spring a surprise back up in class.

King Of Stars and Look Out Louis are very fast sprinters who come here at the top of their game and command plenty of respect. This might set up for one coming from off the pace though and CAIRN GORM, who is edging down the weights, may be the one to capitalise.

Dejame Paso came unstuck in his hat-trick bid at York last month but he was sharply on the up beforehand and he needs taking very seriously. Ajyaall ought to go well again but CHANCE still looks capable of better and last month’s Newbury reappearance should have blown away the cobwebs.

The hat-trick seeking Arcadian Nights is the obvious starting point but this is a lot tougher than the Chepstow handicap he won on his last turf start. Visala and Good Regal are both capable of better but SIENNA BREEZE might be the answer. She fluffed her lines at Newmarket last time but her earlier Nottingham win was impressive and the flatter track and addition of cheekpieces could spark a revival.

Dusky Lord is sure to be popular in his hat-trick bid but this will demand another step forward. Class-dropping Liberated Lady and the unexposed Media Guest can do better but CASTANA DIA should still have a bigger performance in her and she can gain her third C&D win of the season.
