Ailish T and DARK TERMS are closely matched on C&D form 24 days ago and look solid contenders in this field. The latter is open to greater improvement and gets the verdict. Musselburgh eye catcher Offering has to be feared, while Charming Wally has possibilities if he takes well to blinkers.
18:15 – Psychic Change
Lil Guff and Pure Charmer are 0-13 combined and not progressing but they are leading contenders on form. Likely improvers Roseberry Topping and PSYCHIC CHANGE are interesting alternatives, with preference for the latter.
18:45 – Thakrah
Fillies’ Mile entry THAKRAH showed clear promise at Newmarket 17 days ago and should build on that effort. She’s the pick of the runners with experience, followed by Commandment and likely improver Shoutout. All of the newcomers have decent credentials, particularly Rakurai and Fiorina. Any positive market moves should be heeded.
19:15 – Beheld
One more chance is given to BEHELD, who has been expensive to follow this year but brings respectable form and should still rate higher judged on breeding. Divine Magic is second choice, ahead of Sealed Offer. Seasonal debutantes Cry Havoc and Great Vibes need to be monitored for market confidence. Flame Of Freedom has a bit to prove on this track.
19:45 – Buxted Too
Class-dropper BUXTED TOO gets the vote, ahead of Liberty Warrior who should benefit from the new trip and first-time headgear. Fellow 3yos Diamond Bay and Maketh Believeth are also respected, while Mutarabby and Spring Glow are among others with possibilities in an open-looking race.
20:15 – Urban Forest
The verdict goes to URBAN FOREST (nap), who showed improvement at Ffos Las last month and looks ready to strike. He should be suited by this return to AW if taking after his dam. Second choice is Mustang Kodi, who ties in with the selection on last-time-out form. Sundayinmay warrants respect as she’s the only previous winner in the field, while Vive La Danse is likely to go well again and some of the handicap newcomers may improve.
