13:40 – Pearls Galore

Pearls Galore is going to have to step up again to take this but she represents a little bit of value in her price. She was only beaten a half a length by Champers Elyees is a Group 3 last season before Champers Elysees went on to win this race and she’s looked a much better filly this season winning two G3’s.

Mother Earth obviously sets a high standard but an improving filly can’t be underestimated and Pearls Galore comes here with a good chance I feel.

St-Mark's-Basilica

14:45 – St Mark’s Basilica

It’s a three-horse race at the moment on betting and to be fair it looks like it’ll turn out that way. St Mark’s Basilica has gone from strength to strength this season and the step up to 1m2f has really brought out more improvement it seems.

Tarnawa looks his closest danger but she’s only had the one start this season and although it may look good on paper that she’s coming in fresh, I’m not so sure it’ll play out that way.

I’m taking St Mark’s Basilica to make it four Group 1 wins this season as he’s hardly been over-raced coming into this having only had three starts this season himself.
