This looks a fair opportunity for Cotai Hero to get off the mark but he has been expensive to follow and preference is for ACT OF PASSION, the only winner in the line-up and unexposed after just two outings. Alaskan Wind may prove best of the remainder.
Newcomers Bint Elmalek, Chichen Itza and Ultra Chic are all plausible on paper but INVIGILATE’s experience should stand her in good stead and she’s taken to make it third time lucky. Kick On Girl shaped encouragingly on her debut and looks a danger.
Probably not the strongest of novices, those with experience having achieved just fair form thus far, and it’s possible one of the newcomers will prove good enough. ESHKAAL looks the part on paper and could be yet another 2yo winner for Richard Hannon. New Dimension is respected too, but Flying Secret is second choice ahead of Carbon. The market is likely to be informative.

There was little to separate Mickydee and SARATOGA GOLD at the line at Newbury two weeks ago but Charles Hills’ colt may have more in the tank and is taken to come out on top again. Time Interval, also going the right way, is feared in a tight race.
If taking the evergreen veteran Danzeno as a yardstick then there’s very little between DUBAI STATION and Roulston Scar. The selection appeals as the safer option as his market rival has been off since a below-par run in May.
Bowman has won two of his last three and would be especially dangerous if Ben Curtis is able to dictate matters from the front, but IBIZA ROCKS (nap) has more potential and can go one better than on his handicap debut at Sandown. Revolutionise ran his best turf race last time and cannot be discounted.
The likes of Act Of Magic (second choice), Toybox and Kodimoor have been running creditably and should be in the mix, while Sophosc and Sobriquet have tumbled in the weights and shown enough recently to suggest they may be capable of taking advantage before long. But the vote goes to JEDDEYD, whose turn looked near at Nottingham last time in a race that has already thrown up winners. Elegant Love is one more to consider.
