Strong market confidence behind Godolphin’s returning handicap newcomer Noble Dynasty could prove significant but a more solid option at this stage is KING TRITON, who posted a fine first effort for Grant Tuer when third in a big-field 3yo handicap at York’s Ebor meeting. The hat-trick seeking Bowland Park is another likely to go well in a useful 3yo event.

Strawberry Rock is a solid proposition on this season’s form but he may struggle to contain the 3yo SOUTHERN VOYAGE, whose running style could be keeping him ahead of the handicapper. This trip might be ideal for Eagle Court and he’s next best.

All of these would have claims if putting their best foot forward. BALLINTOY HARBOUR didn’t run at all badly in a deeper race at York and she’s a lightly raced filly with better days ahead of her. Havagomecca rates a big threat on her Ascot form (penultimate run) and she’s second choice ahead of Ready Freddie Go.
