She has the look of a well-handicapped filly here off 78 and is fancied to take the scalp of recent Dundalk maiden winner Baldomero, while don’t be surprised to see Yermanthere outrun his odds after a much improved effort at Fairyhouse.
14:35 Fly Girl (NAP)
Hard to look beyond FLY GIRL (nap) here. She had some really smart form as a juvenile and while her career has not gone in the direction connections would have hoped, her latest second in a Leopardstown claimer makes her the one to beat. Shimla Rolann could be the danger, with this trip more suitable than the 6f she tried at the Curragh on stable debut.

There may be another win to be had with AUSSIE VALENTINE who is operating off a rating 36lb below his last winning mark in May 2019. Positives can be taken from his Leopardstown fourth, and he may see off likely challenges from Blankiedoodie and Mulzamm who both ran creditably at Bellewstown last week. Phoenix Open has shown signs of returning to form and has one of the top apprentices aboard in his bid to defy a high draw.

Akin to Aussie Valentine in the previous race, SILVERKODE, a smart handicapper early in his career, has a fighting chance off a much reduced mark. There are several with more obvious claims on the basis of recent consistency, notably Petticoat Rule, What A Feeling and Kaaranah.
16:05 Rekero
REKERO shaped promisingly when fourth in what looked a decent maiden at Cork back in May and is fancied to get off the mark here. The 80-rated Safari Quest sets a decent standard but it’s a level the selection should be able to surpass granted natural improvement from first to second start.
16:40 Dani Barcelona
There is no denying Conflated is the class act here and the 145-rated chaser should be hard to beat, but he’s returning from a summer break and the ground is going to be lively so preference is for Clonmel bumper winner DANI BARCELONA. She was unable to confirm the promise of that debut win at Galway, but could bounce back here. Blackstair Rocco has a squeak too, but the trip is a worry.
