17:23 Definite

Duelist and Luminous Light are newcomers of note but there are promising types amongst the once-raced brigade. War Horse and Splendent are high on the list but DEFINITE should take a good step forward from his Ffos Las debut, form that has already been well advertised.

17:53 Autumn War

All six can have a case argued for them here. Thai Terrier is likely to get an easy time of things up front but others may prove better handicapped. Just Hubert can go well after his game win at Ascot but Single and AUTUMN WAR are marginally preferred. The selection needs a bit more to defy this mark but his only previous run at 2m was a very good one and he could be up to the task.

18:23 Country Pyle

There are some likely big improvers in the shape of A Legacy, Quilted and Stella Maris, as well as a couple of well-related newcomers, but COUNTRY PYLE is still preferred. The New Approach filly shaped with clear promise at Newbury last month and she should be more streetwise under pressure with that experience behind her.

Dalanijujo ran as well as she ever has when third at Doncaster last time and ought to give a good account but Stunning Beauty and LOLA SHOWIGIRL (nap) could be the pair to focus on. The selection displayed a fine attitude when winning at Royal Ascot and she can resume her progress back in handicap company.

Liberty Bay, Atty’s Edge and Glamorous Force all look set to go well but things have really clicked for TRUSTY RUSTY since joining Tony Carroll and she can maintain her unbeaten record at 5f.
