This looks tricky but it might be worth siding with Andrew Balding’s UNDER OATH. This well-bred filly didn’t live up to market expectations at Newmarket but she had some excuses and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she left that form well behind. Miss Harmony also looks a likely improver on her second start, while Kingdom Girl may have had track/ground issues at Goodwood last month and looks interesting on her debut form. Another key player is the previous winner Silver Kitten, who was a respectable third under a penalty at Brighton last time.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
14:20 Bonnie Lad
The step up in trip may see better performances from Power On and Bookmark, while Soyuz and Billie’s Girl are others to consider on their latest efforts. However, BONNIE LAD had no problem with the conditions when winning over C&D last time and is taken to make it 3-5 at the track.
14:55 Thunder Flash
A weak race in which the 3yo filly Wadacre Gogo looks interesting following her creditable stable debut at Wolverhampton last time, but the drop in trip may not work in her favour and preference is for THUNDER FLASH. He has a penalty to contend with, but both wins have comes in similar contests including over C&D this month, since when he has run at least as well in a Wolverhampton handicap.
15:30 Toussarok (NAP)
This can go to Mark Johnston’s 3yo TOUSSAROK (nap), who was only just caught over 7f in his bid for a double at Kempton last week and is on the same mark on this drop back in trip. Alphonse Karr got back near his best with a close third over C&D last time and he’s feared most, though the generally consistent Invincible Larne should be thereabouts again on his return to AW.
16:00 The Vegas Rider
This C&D seems to suit THE VEGAS RAIDER and he can make amends for two narrow defeats this month, the latest when nearly snatching back the lead from a good yardstick. Red Glory has done his racing at shorter but he kept on well enough over 1m4f at Lingfield to think he can stay further so he may be the main danger, ahead of Damned Elusive.

Having shown some good form on turf, At A Pinch is very much a contender despite being off for 11 weeks, but BARSHAA is just preferred. She has already run well on Polytrack, finishing second at Lingfield last time, and this more galloping circuit may suit her better.
17:05 Katherine Place
Tilsworth Rose and Precious Plum finished first and second in a classified event over C&D 11 days ago and are respected back in a handicap, but preference is for KATHERINE PLACE, who has gone close in her last two runs and is on the same mark as for her latest second at Chepstow last week behind a subsequent winner. Another to consider is Kelinda Dice, who was runner-up on her drop back to 5f last time and looks interesting if she can build on that.
