13:15 Bullet Force

BULLET FORCE is a scopey sort whose sales price increased markedly at the breeze-ups earlier this year and he sets a good standard on his runner-up efforts at Sandown so far. He bumped into a potentially smart sort last time and could be hard to beat in what doesn’t look a deep race of its type. Animato is selected for the forecast after a promising start at Catterick over this trip.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

13:45 Yukon

This doesn’t look very inspiring, and it is hard to make a compelling case for any of the quintet. But, long-standing maiden YUKON ran one of his best races to date when runner-up at Beverley last time, so is taken to finally get his head in front – possibly at the main expense of Natural Value.

14:20 Donizetti

DONIZETTI showed much-improved form to open his account after four months off in a handicap over shorter at this track on Friday, justifying market support and showing a determined attitude in the finish.

A breathing operation appears to have worked the oracle and he should make another bold bid turned out under a penalty back up in trip. Volkova has been given a chance by the handicapper, so may emerge as the biggest threat ahead of Renbawi and Esticky End.

14:50 Jordan Electrics

It is very hard to look beyond JORDAN ELECTRICS, who arrives here at the top of his game and improved again in defeat when only narrowly failing to complete a hat-trick at Hamilton last time. He was beaten only by a well-handicapped sort that day and is surely up to winning more races from a mark in the low-70s. Primo’s Comet is holding his form really well and can give the selection most to think about.

15:20 Gift Of Raaj

GIFT OF RAAJ has fallen a long way in the weights and duly capitalised on a reduced mark when shedding the maiden tag at Redcar three weeks ago. He did it in fine style too, doing well to open up the advantage he did following a long-running duel.

A 5lbs rise in the weights looks fair and it remains early days with this yard, so he can go well again tackling this longer trip. Wynford is enjoying a very good spell and is a big danger though, ahead of Tomorrow’s Angel.

15:50 King Of Tonga

KING OF TONGA hasn’t won for quite some time now but, having dropped to a career-low mark and with the usual headgear left off, David O’Meara’s charge turned in his best effort of the season to finish runner-up at this track five days ago. He’s taken to go one place better here dropped slightly in trip. Hajjam gets the vote to chase the selection home, ahead of Oso Rapido.

16:20 Denzil’s Laughing

DENZIL’S LAUGHING is 3lbs lower than when striking at Catterick in the spring, and last week’s course and distance second suggests he be could back in good enough form to take advantage. He was only headed late on that day and Billy Garritty now takes off a valuable 3lbs, so there is plenty to like about his chances. Rory is going the right way and looks the chief threat ahead of Jacattack.
