Her form has dipped in recent starts but SECRET TO SUCCESS has strong claims on her midsummer form and this is an uncompetitive affair. She can prove too strong for the reliable veteran Aces.

This could be fought out by previous winners GOLDILOCKS and Femme Friendly with the former marginally preferred. Hot Spell can do better, while Roaring Rosa has an appealing pedigree and looks worth a market check.

19:00 – Manhattanville

There could well be more to come from Superior Force back at 6f and in more realistic company and he’s one for the shortlist. The pair to appeal most are Ernie’s Valentine, who came from an unpromising position to win at Kempton 19 days ago, and the hat-trick seeking MANHATTANVILLE, with Ed Dunlop’s progressive C&D winner marginally preferred.

19:30 – New Mission

Abbado and Outbreak are well-related newcomers but this may rest between Claim The Crown and NEW MISSION. The former shaped well on debut and should relish the longer trip but New Mission can be excused his debut run in atrocious ground and may show his true colours this evening.

20:00 – Karibana

King’s Knight could bounce back to form now returned to Polytrack, while the unexposed Stylish Performer and Jumaira Bay are others to take very seriously. KARIBANA comes with risks attached but his C&D win in May reads well and he could bounce back to form now tried in cheekpieces for the first time.

20:30 – Luna Wish

Vasco Da Gama and Maysong are the only pair coming here on the back of a good recent run but neither are entirely convincing. Art Dealer could be revived by the AW, while Secret Moment is surely better than he has been showing and Lafan may benefit from a gelding operation. LUNA WISH has conditions to suit though and she should be cherry ripe after a couple of recent runs.

21:00 – Mahanakhon Power

Star Approach may do better for a gelding operation, while Parikarma and Eltham Palace are both likely to give their running. MAHANAKHON POWER (nap) could enjoy the run of things here though and he is taken to gain a second win for this yard.
