16:25 – Alice Kitty
If none the worse for the bruises and scrapes incurred when falling at the first at Roscommon, ALICE KITTY may make her Flat race experience count over the Willie Mullins-trained newcomer Feigh. Stand Staunch, another of the Roscommon casualties, could also feature. Supposedtobe has shown promise on the Flat.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
17:00 – Tudor City
Galway Hurdle form could prove crucial to the outcome. The 2019 winner of that race and fifth in the recent edition, TUDOR CITY, may confirm his narrow superiority in this rematch with sixth-placed Winner Takes Itall. Dysart Diamond and Visionarian, second and fifth in their respective Galway outings, are also strong contenders.
17:30 – Suprise Package
Several of the likely key players ran at Galway, and SUPRISE PACKAGE, runner-up over an extended 2m, is likely to be seen to better effect in this test of stamina. Peter Fahey’s runner has youth on his side relative to maiden winner Desir Du Large and in-form mare Molly Wedger.
18:00 – Western Run
Having signalled a return to form with a strong-finishing second at Galway, WESTERN RUN (nap) looks capable of going one place better. The four-year-old Busselton can hold his own, and Goodbye Someday should not be ruled out despite recent failures to produce form in keeping with what he achieved over hurdles.

18:30 – Im Not Alone
A smooth winner at Tipperary last month on her first outing of 2021, I’M NOT ALONE may be progressive enough to cope with a 12lb rise. Black Samurai has gone up an aggregate 15lb for his last three runs but gives the impression he can remain competitive. Railway Muice may prove best of the remainder.
19:00 – Stealthy Tom
Avec Espoir came out of nowhere to beat Mister Bells by 19l at Tipperary and is an obvious contender off 10lb higher, but STEALTHY TOM catches the eye off a mark of just 87. He’s an unexposed 6yo who has got his act together over hurdles of late and could translate that form to fences with Simon Torrens on board.
19:30 – Eagle Moon
Former useful juvenile hurdler Cerberus goes into handicap company with prospects at this level, but EAGLE MOON is possibly a safer proposition in the light of his recent Wexford win off a 6lb lower mark. Top weight Andalusa should enter calculations in a race of this standard.
20:00 – Shanacoole Dasy
This is not easily solved. The newcomer Inspiteofourselves might not need to be anything particularly special to make a winning debut and the booking of Jamie Codd suggests he might well be above average. San Salvador has a big chance and should go close, but a chance is taken on SHANACOOLE DASY who looked set to coast home in a Wexford maiden hurdle before crashing out at the second-last. That was a poor race but she impressed with the way she moved through it.
