13:50 Sandrine

SANDRINE bids to cement herself towards the top of the 2022 1000 Guineas market. She brings in that perfect 100 per cent record and has smoothly gone through the grades, winning on bottomless ground at Royal Ascot and proving herself fully effective on quicker conditions on the July course at Newmarket. Every jockey needs that superstar to put his/her name up in lights and rider David Probert is having a dream run at the moment. It should continue at York on Thursday.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:25 Adeb

ADEB came with a big reputation to the Glorious Goodwood meeting after a very easy Beverley win, but proved a major disappointment. However, at the time Richard Fahey’s horses were woefully out of form. They don’t seem quite out of the woods yet, however they are looking in a little bit better order with them starting to run with some consistency.

It’s easy to pick out the top-rated runners and just side with them. But, from a value point of view, Adeb is much better than his run last time where he was in the centre of the track running like he was in treacle. He’ll be a nice price and he has an excellent rider in Hollie Doyle on board. He certainly looks to be an each-way play.

15:00 Trais Fluors

TRAIS FLUORS hasn’t run to the same form that saw him bolt up at Sandown this season, but he was  backed up very quickly after that win when running four days later at Royal Ascot. He’s probably not had the races run to suit him since then and clearly didn’t have the tools to deal with a sprint finish last time. He has a guaranteed pace to run at now which will help.

Jockey David Probert couldn’t be any hotter at the moment and he has a perfect inside draw position over this distance.

15:35 Snowfall

SNOWFALL is going to be short in the market, but looks unopposable as she brings in by far-and-away the best form. Eshaada ran an absolute cracker at Ascot last time out and after having only had the three lifetime starts, she still has some potential to fill the second spot for the forecast.

York Races Ebor Festival

16:10 Maglev

MAGLEV looked very good when beating Home City at Yarmouth – with the pair pulling well clear. He was arguably unlucky last time at Chester having more than a troubled passage in running and can make amends now.

16:45 Portfolio

PORTFOLIO did well when stepping up in distance into Listed company at Newmarket last time to finish third to Save A Forest over 1m 4f. The second, Sayyida, has since come out and finished a respectable fourth to Free Wind at Deauville in a Group 3 last weekend.

That’s decent form and after wo earlier handicap wins Portfolio can continue to progress and take this 1m 4f affair.

17:20 Star Of Emaraaty

STAR OF EMARAATY was a Group performer as a two-year-old, but has been better suited since by being dropped down into handicaps. She arrives here off the back of her best efforts so far this season when a narrow third over 7f at Newmarket to the re-opposing, Spirit Of Bermuda (winner) and second-placed Rising Star (winner since).

14:25 Adeb
