Welcome to Paddy Power’s ultimate runner-by-runner guide to the Juddmonte International Stakes – the big race on the opening day of York’s Ebor Festival 2021.

The 1m 2f contest was blown wide open at final declarations when it was revealed antepost odds-on favourite St Mark’s Basilica would not run after sustaining an infection.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Aidan O’Brien’s superstar, the joint-highest rated horse in the world alongside Adayar, suffered a cut to a hind leg after losing a front shoe on the gallops.

Ballydoyle have called on last year’s dual Classic winner Love to fill the void and challenge Mishriff and five other runners including Alcohol Free and Mac Swiney.
