A 5lbs higher mark shouldn’t prevent another bold showing and he gets the nod to follow up. Naughty Ana ran well at Thirsk recently and is next best, ahead of Mo Henry.

Preference is for MR STRUTTER, who goes particularly well here and remains on a workable mark. Klopp of The Kop and Hachert head the list of dangers.
15:30 Oh So Woke
OH SO WOKE showed a good attitude when scoring at Chepstow last month and hasn’t been harshly treated for that victory. She can follow up. Mutaabeq and Sfumato look the likeliest dangers.
16:05 Nadein
NADEIN is going the right way, and this looks a good opportunity for her to open her account. Sukarno should have come on plenty for his Ripon debut and could figure. First Account won over hurdles last time and is another to note.
16:35 King Crimson
Though he’s very much the veteran of the party, KING CRIMSON proved that he retains plenty of dash when scoring over course and distance earlier this month. John Butler’s charge was just touched off at Brighton three days later and, still on a favourable mark, he is taken to get his head back in front. Refuge has been knocking on the door of late and should be in the mix, but Auckland Lodge is second choice.

GENESIUS has quickly got motoring for Sir Mark Prescott and can notch up a third win of the campaign. The Dancing Poet and Chief Craftsman could be the dangers.
