13:00 – Hey Teacher
HEY TEACHER showed the benefit of his debut effort when keeping on for second in a Bath novice (11.6f) 2 weeks ago, that despite still looking a little green. He can open his account in a race lacking depth, with old rival Papas Boy fancied to pose the chief threat.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:35 – Summers Knight
A typically progressive stayer from the Sir Mark Prescott yard, SUMMER’S KNIGHT always looked in control when adding to his tally at Yarmouth and a 4 lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from following up here. Reverend Hubert wasn’t far behind the selection when fourth in a valuable Haydock handicap in July and should again be on the premises, while Master Milliner also needs considering.
14:10 – Mezzanotte
MEZZANOTE showed ability on her first couple of starts, then had excuses (raced freely and stumbled over 4f out) at Beverley a couple of months ago. Bred to be useful, there’s every chance she ups her game now trying nurseries, so she’s marginally preferred to Great Havana, another Newmarket-trained representative who arrives with plenty of potential.
14:45 – Wild Flower
WILD FLOWER is knocking on the door again and can gain a deserved first success of the term at the chief expense of recent Wolverhampton scorer Creek Harbour. C&D winner Handytalk is weighted to have a say too if able to shrug off a modest showing at Newbury.

15:20 – Morty
MORTY has resumed his progress in recent starts and this looks a good opportunity for him to resume winning ways. Bama Lama goes unpenalised for her recent Windsor success and is considered the main threat.
15:55 – Aboard The Beagle
ABOARD THE BEAGLE seemed to show much-improved form when runner-up in a seller a fornight ago and if that performance is taken at face value, she’s well treated from this mark. Ebqaa and Tinchoo head the opposition.
16:25 – West Side Glory
WEST SIDE GLORY was a bit too free up in trip at Nottingham so the drop back in distance should suit this unexposed filly on handicap bow. She shades the vote over Miquelon, who responded well to headgear when a good second at Wolverhampton starting out in handicaps himself.
