13:00 Chase That Dream
CHASE THAT DREAM, who belatedly showed something akin to the promise of his two-year-old debut when third in a course and distance handicap won by Twentysharesofgrey, did well to finish as close as he did under the circumstances on that occasion and, granted better luck in running this time, should reverse the placings with the winner on these terms. Tommytwohoots looks a threat with Ray Dawson booked, too.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:35 Giuseppe Cassioli
GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI didn’t really make an impact at Sandown on his debut for this yard last month, but he is likely to be seen in an altogether better light with that run under his belt (first start for 4 months) and back on the all-weather (has made the frame in all but one of his 10 appearances on polytrack/tapeta). He is on a fair mark and gets the nod ahead of Sucellus, who is another that is fairly treated, while Harry George also enters calculations.
14:10 Out Of Reason
Despite a couple of rather underwhelming performances on turf this season, OUT OF REASON is worth chancing back on the all-weather, bearing in mind that he went down narrowly in a nursery here off this mark during the autumn. He finds himself in a race that shouldn’t take much winning and is fancied to open his account. Mushirif needs considering now upped in trip for this handicap debut, but Maketh Believeth is feared most on the back of his course and distance near miss last month.
14:45 Arthur’s Victory
ARTHUR’S VICTORY may well be the answer on the back of her recent breakthrough success at Epsom. Admittedly, that wasn’t a particularly strong race, but neither is this, and her strength at the finish that day suggests she had a bit up her sleeve, so a 4 lb rise should be manageable. Kodikova hasn’t shaped badly in a couple of 6f handicaps at Thirsk for new connections this season and she is next on the list ahead of Cabrini.

15:20 Hierarchy
Hugo Palmer has his string in good order at present, particularly his two-year-olds, and he saddles a likely-looking newcomer here in the shape of HIERARCHY. He was an expensive purchase at the breeze-ups earlier this year, who is related to winners, and won’t need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning start to his career. The hint should be taken if the market speaks in his favour. Tyson sets the standard based on his effort at Ascot last month, but he failed to fire next time and Fozzie Bear is feared most.
15:55 Secret Handsheikh
SECRET HANDSHEIKH‘s recent efforts haven’t been overly inspiring, but he has been contesting some fairly useful handicaps, and should appreciate this drop in grade. Therefore, he’s of strong interest at this easier level from what look favourable terms. With Seas of Elzaam due to run at Leicester on Sunday, Bombastic and Roundel, first and third respectively in this grade here last month, can fill the places.
