16:45 Stoneyford Boy

Kendancer quite rightly has the highest rating of these and his chance is fairly obvious after a solid return. However, he’s probably going to be well found in the market and it might be worth chancing STONEYFORD BOY who has run well in defeat here previously and he should come on for his recent fifth with first-time cheekpieces fitted this time. Gallic Boy ran well in defeat last time and may improve again.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

17:15 Wonder Laish

This appears to be between Eclair De Beaufeu and WONDER LAISH, although you couldn’t set your watch by either of them. The vote tentatively goes to the Cathal Byrnes-trained 9yo who should be more at home over this shorter trip and has the benefit of his useful young rider’s 7lb claim. The figures suggest he should be very hard to beat and that is likely to prove the case.

17:45 Johanna Yeats

With a fair amount of rain forecast, JOHANNA YEATS, could be the one to side with. All her best form is with cut in the ground and she was only narrowly denied from 1lb lower when she last had her conditions in May. Fassbender has been leniently left on the same mark for a recent big run in defeat. The unexposed Withallduerespect showed more last time out and may be able to build on that effort.

18:15 Wrong Way Harry

Modest stuff so it looks between Limerick winner Profound, who will not want rain, and WRONG WAY HARRY, who has strong form claims.

18:45 Grozni

Narynkol posted a much improved effort last time but with the form of that race not working out particularly well, GROZNI is preferred. He ran well in defeat again last time out and there’s a good chance he won’t get pestered for the lead in this field. Montel Glory was prominent in the market for debut and he may do better this time.

19:15 Definite Plan (NAP)

DEFINITE PLAN (nap) failed to complete in five of his seven points, but his chasing debut at Wexford went well and he shaped as though this trip would be right up his street. He was over 9l in front of Premium Package there and is fancied to confirm that form. Whirling Dervish is another to consider on his chasing debut.

19:45 Dream Conti

It has been a tale of woe for DREAM CONTI since he was third in a competitive Punchestown contest back in November, form figures of PPP70 tell you that, but he might be a bit better than this lot if back to himself and is worth chancing off a mark of 125. Ask Nile, Samurai Cracker and Jack Hackett are worth considering too in what looks a very open contest.

20:15 Flemencello

Willie Mullins has won 11 bumpers already this season and FLEMENCELLO won’t need to be anything special to make that 12. The newcomer by Flemensfirth is a sister to a 3m winner over hurdles and is likely to be too good for Call Me Jim who ran well at Sligo.
