Sunday’s big Galway handicap winner Current Option now boasts a 110 rating and that gives him a fighting chance of repeating last year’s win. However, slight preference is for the relatively unexposed QUARANTINE DREAMS who stayed on well over 6f last time. Erzindjan has been running over longer trips and has a good chance if running up to his best form. Soul Search should also enter calculations.
15:17 – Petticoat Rule
The drop to 7f may not be ideal for PETTICOAT RULE but she has plenty going for her as an in-form filly competing off bottom weight. The renewal of Naas rivalry between Affable and Deidra could be crucial to the outcome. Top-weight Sh Boom is not out of it.

Despite running a bit green and meeting trouble in running KARLSBERG showed definite potential on her handicap debut at the Curragh. The transformed Cactus Tree can be rated a serious threat after Thursday’s Leopardstown win. She’s Good Company is a basically reliable sort. Designer Cailin and Dee Sprinter also have claims on recent form.
16:20 – Golden Days
Sligo winner Ten Ten Twenty may be vulnerable over this trip and with a penalty. An each-way vote goes to GOLDEN DAYS who shaped quite well when seventh behind Scream at Fairyhouse. Accessory is another with a clear chance after an improved display last time.
16:55 – La Petite Coco
Cases can be made for plenty but LA PETITE COCO is one that we likely haven’t seen the best of yet and she can make a bold bid to deny the talented Thunder Kiss another lucrative success over this C&D. Willow is a bit of an unknown on this ground but has some that entitles her to be bang there at the business end, while Federica Sophia, whose dam Sapphire won this race in 2012 and relished soft ground, could potentially improve for the easier surface than last time.
17:25 – Cycladic
Provided conditions don’t get too testing, CYCLADIC could be able to put her experience to good use and get a deserved change of luck. She stays well, won’t mind a little ease and could be suited by the nature of this race against colts and geldings. The fact Seamie Hefferan favours Key To The Kingdom over Lord Of The Manor is encouraging for his chance, but the 279-day absence is a bit off-putting. Earl Of Tyrone is good enough to win one of these when putting it all together.
