12:50 Ascot – Tone The Barone

Tone The Barone comes from off the pace so the stiff Ascot finish will definitely suit him. Actually we already know that because he’s run here three times and won twice – I like that form!

13:25 Ascot – Indigo Times

This is not the best race ever and a few of the yards with runners have been a bit quiet recently. I’ll side with Indigo Times, who knows how to win, which I suppose is important! However, I have minimal confidence here, I’d tread carefully.

14:00 Ascot – Spanish Kiss

I’m going with Spanish Kiss. If he settles early on, he could be a very strong finisher and prove hard to beat.

14:25 Haydock – Thibaan

Form figures of 3-2-1 show that Thibaan is improving all the time and a continuation of that puts him bang in the mix.

14:35 Ascot – Raising Sand

Raising Sand doesn’t win very often, but to be fair he normally runs in impossible big-field handicaps. This is a bit easier and he knows Ascot like the back of his, ahem… hoof! (I’m sorry about that one).

14:50 Newmarket – Rolling The Dice

Rolling The Dice had a lovely maiden win last time out and should love the conditions at Newmarket. The top two in the market would prefer it to be a little softer so an each way roll of the dice (see what I did there, eh?) is the order of the day.

15:10 Ascot – Possible Man

Possible Man runs as though the step up in trip will suit him, so let’s take a chance that his first try at 1m4f will be the key for him.

15:45 Ascot – Popmaster

There’s a lot to like about Popmaster‘s win at Doncaster last time out and he’s definitely going in the right direction. He’s worth backing to score another win.

16:10 Haydock – Real World

Real World won the Royal Hunt Cup and then followed up impressively in a Listed race at Newbury in July. This is a Group 3 race but he should be well able for it. I’m going for Real World to get his hat-trick!
