However, the vote goes to triple course winner THAAYER, who was only just caught over 1m here on his penultimate run and is a big player if he can recapture that form back on Tapeta.

Preference is for GINATO (nap), who cashed in on a reduced mark when forging clear over 6f at Ripon and a 4lb rise for that breakthrough win looks fair. Starter For Ten finished well when third at Kempton last time and he’s feared most on his step back up in trip. Lofty travelled well for a long way at Wolverhampton on Friday and has possibilities if first-time cheekpieces work, while another who could be in the mix is Spartakos.
15:25 – Twice Adaay
This looks wide open. Roman Encounter went close off a reduced mark when upped to 6f at Ayr and has claims if she can back that up. Deny Knowledge could make a bold bid on her switch to AW, while Puchita should be in the mix again and Final Rendezvous is also respected. However, it might be worth siding with TWICE ADAAY, who got off the mark with a decisive win in cheekpieces at Beverley last time and may well be able to strike again on her step back up in trip.
16:00 – Golden Hind
Several have possibilities but the vote goes to GOLDEN HIND, who ran well at Hamilton last time and now returns to Tapeta off the same mark as for her C&D win last September. The main threat could come from Trinity Girl, who got back in the groove with a comfortable win on her drop back to 1m4f at Doncaster in June. Livia The Empress is another key player, while David Simcock’s handicap newcomer Special Directory needs a close look in the market.
16:33 – Beating All
A good handicap, though with no guaranteed front-runner it could get messy. Preference is for BEATING ALL, who had looked very promising before failing to give his running at Chester two months ago. Raise The Roof impressed at Wolverhampton last time and she’s feared most, though Pallas Dancer, Athmad and Tricolore are all winners on the surface and by no means ruled out.
17:03 – Jupiter Road
Positives are thin on the ground. The suggestion is JUPITER ROAD, who is at least well handicapped on form from not all that long ago. Harswell Princess could be the danger if getting home over a new trip, along with Visitant.
17:37 – Astral Beat
The vote goes to ASTRAL BEAT, who made a promising start when fifth of 16 at Newmarket ten days ago and should beneft from that experience. She’s The Danger was disappointing last time but the slow ground may have held her back and she’s a major player if she can recapture the form of debut third at Pontefract. Rosie’s Return made some good late headway at Catterick and looks a likely improver upped in trip on his second start, while there are several newcomers who need checking in the market including Coylefourthreenone.
18:07 – Sambucca Spirit
Paul Midgley’s SAMBUCCA SPIRIT has placed form here off higher marks and he’s running better than the form figures may imply. Glorious Rio is second choice and Niagara third.
