14:20 Master Artist (NAP)

Wasdell Dundalk looked good at the finish over C&D last week but he found everything going his way in that race (strong pace) and there’s no guarantee he’ll deliver again. There should again be little between the pair of 4yos at the foot of the weights and both can be considered but MASTER ARTIST (nap) can prove he’s up to this level after an easy selling win last month.

14:55 Galsworthy

There should be little between Art Man and Matewan again and both can be expected to do better. GALSWORTHY ran well enough over C&D on his hurdling debut to earn the vote, ahead of Bigbadmattie, who wouldn’t have been far behind the selection in that race but for falling.

15:30 Idols’s Eye

Forthegreatergood has obvious claims but preference is for IDOLS’S EYE, who ran very well on his hurdling debut and may have more potential.

Espressino should go well off the same mark as for his Stratford win and Veiled Secret needs respecting after grasping victory from the jaws of defeat here last time. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT might just beat them both if replicating his latest Newton Abbot effort. Espressino is second choice.

While Jessica Rabbit looks set for another very prominent finish, the most compelling case belongs to GO ON CHEZ following his win eight days ago. He accomplished next to nothing over hurdles last year and his dramatic change in fortunes has come over fences but he’s young and relatively lightly raced, so may well be seen in a much more positive light over hurdles as well. Witch From Rome is third on the list.

17:05 Call His Bluff

If he reproduces his Southwell effort in May, CALL HIS BLUFF will take some beating and the booking of Tommie O’Brien is a good sign. Tamango looks next best while Coisa Blanco is no forlorn hope, either.
