A consistent profile since blinkers have gone on makes TIME HAS WINGS the most solid option here. Second choice is Emjaytwentythree. Three-time winner Merry Secret is also respected despite his penalties.

14:23 – Marsabit

The form of MARSABIT‘s latest Doncaster success has been boosted a few times since so he’s narrowly preferred to Mars Landing, who came from well off the pace to win a shade cosily over C&D back in April.

Quite an interesting novice. JASMINE JOY may have bumped into a good one at Doncaster last month and gets the nod but Tall Order (second choice), Diavolo and Marching Army have also shown plenty of promise and should ensure the selection doesn’t get things all her own way.

The Richard Fahey-trained ROYAL GUARD may not be entirely straightforward but he travels like a horse who should have a race in him and is taken to come good now dropping back to 6f. Tony Carroll pair Eastern Star (second choice) and Shani are respected, while Wiff Waff was successful over C&D on the last occasion he dipped into a 0-50 classified event.

16:55 – Soramond

Southwell hurdle debut scorer SORAMOND (nap) returns to the Flat off the same mark as when winning over C&D last year so she might be up to making it 2-2 for new trainer Amy Murphy. Sir Canford (second choice) and last-time-out C&D scorer Villanelle can give her most to do.
