GLOBAL PROSPECTOR is on a steep upward curve for Chris Dwyer, making it three wins from his last four starts and impressing with how quick he put the race to bed at Yarmouth 18 days ago. He’s fancied to make another bold bid, with recent course and distance winner The Cruising Lord and Michaels Choice heading up the dangers.

An open looking handicap with the narrow vote in favour of BEASTIE BOY. He remains a maiden on the back of eight starts, but has twice ran with credit in recent weeks and may well be up to putting it all together from a career-low mark under William Buick. A few with chances, but MABO can race off a mark 5lbs lower than when runner-up at Wolverhampton last week and is fancied to take full advantage. Kenstone arrives in very good order and rates the chief threat with Bonnie Lad appealing as the pick of the remainder and a solid place prospect.

RUSKIN RED is weighted to have a big say on the back of his excellent Kempton second last time and can open his account at the chief expense of course and distance victor Hidden Depths, who arrives in good nick himself. Thunder Flash and Alambrista command respect too and look the duo best equipped to fight out the minor honours.
