13:15 – Russellinthebushes
Black Hill Storm and RUSSELLINTHEBUSHES have the best form, and a proven ability to handle softish ground sways the vote in favour of the latter. Newcomer Rosie’s Return should be monitored in the betting.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:45 – Winterwatch
A tricky puzzle, and all four can be given a chance. Narrow preference is for WINTERWATCH who is proven over 1m4f and open to further progress, but Sarrood has strong form claims and the Easterby-trained runners make some appeal too.
14:20 – Time Has Wings
Tim Easterby’s pair, Tequila Royale and Naughty Ana, both make some appeal but the verdict goes to TIME HAS WINGS who can be ridden positively and was fifth on her most recent outing at Thirsk in a race which is already working out well. Ella Jo lost her rider early on last time but is unexposed and may provide the sternest resistance.
14:55 – Highland Premiere
An interesting nursery featuring three last-time-out winners. In the hope that today’s longer trip favours him the most, preference is for HIGHLAND PREMIERE who kept on doggedly to win over 6f at Hamilton. All In Aladdin looks ready for a step up to 7f as well and is capable of a big run.

15:30 – Let Me Be
Four of the five have plenty going for them. Preference is for LET ME BE, who’s having such a fine campaign, but Wise Eagle has also done very well this year, while Bollin Neil has an excellent record at this track and Stonific is back in the picture with this step back up in trip. Bollin Neil is second on the list.
16:05 – Ginato
It’s hard to construct a solid case for many of these but GINATO (nap) shaped with some encouragement from a poor draw at Redcar last time and makes far more appeal than most. His stablemate Mr Zanetti is open to improvement as he moves into handicaps but the obvious alternative to the selection is the recent C&D winner Acquisitor.
16:40 – Desert Dream
Several of these have solid pieces of C&D form and the vote goes to DESERT DREAM who was a close third on good to soft ground here in May. Mark Crehan’s useful 3lb claim could tip the balance in his favour today. At potentially more rewarding odds, Quercus is interesting after taking a step back in the right direction last time. My Thought, Motawaazy, Mudawwan, Lukoutoldmakezebak and the veteran B Fifty Two are all worthy of consideration too.
17:10 – Key Look
Don’t expect to see her until close home but KEY LOOK still appeals as being on a handy mark and she should find this being run to suit. She had to wait an age for a gap when keeping on late at Thirsk last week and is something of a hostage to fortune but this is a drop in class. Lofty, Feel The Thunder, Carlovian and Bibbidibobbidiboo look best of the rest.
