13:35 Secret Potion

A few of these are weighted to win on the AW, not least Storm Melody and Pastfact, but SECRET POTION looks the reliable option after his solid efforts in defeat, including one here, to go with a Bath win in May. Blue Cable hasn’t flourished on turf of late and was pulled up after losing her action only a week ago but her earlier form here suggests she could be the biggest danger to the selection.

14:10 Aunt Agatha

There is improvement to come from Kim Wexler and AUNT AGATHA, who are bred to be better than their current marks. The former has the benefit of AW experience but things did go her way to a certain extent when she won at Lingfield and her draw is not as helpful here. Aunt Agatha wouldn’t lie down when winning on her first start since wind surgery at Redcar and this return to 6f looks sure to suit providing she handles the new surface. Symbol Of Hope is preferred of the remainder.

14:45 Mansfield

There will be no shortage of pace and that will be ideal for C&D winner MANSFIELD who ran well to be second at Musselburgh last time. True Hero could prove his main threat.

15:20 Coronation Cottage

Although it is a while since she has run here, CORONATION COTTAGE has a fine record over C&D and is taken to return to winning ways. The maiden Dana Frever is another likely to run well.

15:55 Port Noir (NAP)

Frow should appreciate the return to AW and can go well, while Urtzi finally delivered on her earlier promise when scoring here last month and is considered despite a hefty rise in the weights. Fast Moon can do better but has a poor draw to contend with and this may be best left to PORT NOIR (nap). She has also been hit with an 8lb rise for her latest C&D win but that performance was backed up by the clock and she still has time to do better over this trip.

16:30 Raise The Roof

Although several can be ruled out, this looks quite a tricky race and the tentative choice is RAISE THE ROOF as she won what looked a decent race over C&D back in February. Sea Oscar and Persuasive Powers are dangers as both ran well enough first time to suggest they are capable of winning a race like this.

17:05 Imperial Sun

Keeper has more to offer and should be dangerous, while Midfield is set to prove a different proposition this year and Epic Pass and Thunder Ahead can also feature. IMPERIAL SUN should benefit from the longer trip, though, and he can get off the mark now dropping into a Class 5.
