13:55 She Tops The Lot

Winner of two of her five starts over hurdles, SHE TOPS THE LOT stepped up on her chase debut effort when runner-up here last month. With further progress anticipated, she is taken to make a winning handicap bow in this sphere.

Next on the list is the hat-trick seeking Downthecellar, who took another step forward over this course and distance last time, a race in which Carnet de Stage was back in fourth.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:30 Snow Falcon

It’s been a while since he last hit the target, but SNOW FALCON is nevertheless an appealing alternative to likely favourite Bapaume. The latter scored over this course and distance on his latest start and he is greatly respected.

But, he didn’t find much when it came to the crunch over hurdles last time at Punchestown where he was 7-and-a-half lengths adrift of the selection. Ornua should also have a say in the finish.

15:05 Little Mixup

If settling better than he did at Clonmel last time, LITTLE MIXUP may well be the answer to a race lacking any real strength in depth. Indeed, he showed more than enough at Down Royal on his penultimate start to make him of strong interest here. Shirocco’s Delight is feared most on the back of an improved effort here last month, while Boy Called Sue is best of the rest.

15:40 Ferdia

This drop back in trip shouldn’t be an issue for FERDIA, who followed his debut success with a solid second to the potentially useful Enniskerry upped to 2-and-half miles at Roscommon last month. He remains capable of better and is taken to strike here. Schone Aussicht is bidding for the hat-trick and has to be taken seriously, along with Raven Rule, who is also going the right way.

16:15 Attitash

Ready preference is for ATTITASH, who left his previous form well behind when second in a big-field Tipperary handicap on debut for Willie Mullins in May. A 4lbs rise for that effort is very fair and there should be more to come from this six-year-old. Royal Recital was also a much-improved second on his first start for new connections at Navan and is second choice ahead of Molly Fantasy.

16:50 Quirt Evans

QUIRT EVANS put in a good shift when finding just one too good at Wexford on Friday and, if turned out again quickly here, he will prove a tough nut to crack. Clear next best is Silvertown, who has hit the crossbar on each of his last two starts and should pick up a race in this sphere before long. Point winner Optional Mix made an encouraging start over hurdles at Downpatrick and is third choice.

17:25 Molly Wedger

MOLLY WEDGER has been hit hard by the handicapper for last month’s course and distance success, but she could hardly have been more impressive and may well go in again. Saol Iontach is more than capable of playing a leading role off this mark, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that she’s 0-17 over hurdles and Clonbury Bridge, who is clearly going the right way, is feared most. Supreme Vinnie also has claims.
