A moderate affair and very hard to oppose PROVOCATEUSE on the evidence to date. Wait A Little could follow the selection home.

A tricky puzzle with a host of well handicapped sorts in this and none more so than STANHOPE. He was rated 18lb higher when winning this time last year and he shaped like a return to form was imminent at Navan when last seen. Amazing Emma is an unexposed three-year-old that had excuses last time and Blastofmagic isn’t without claims, despite his poor strike-rate in recent years.

This could be the weaker of the two divisions and NO TROUBLE could be the one to take advantage. He’s only been nudged up 1lb for a narrow defeat at Limerick last time and he’s preferred to stablemate Indignation who is another who ran well last time out. Any support for Lady Barrington would make that one interesting on handicap debut.

Course winner APRILS JOY (nap) posted a career best over hurdles last time and she ought to give a good account back on the level from below her winning handicap mark. There were signs of a return to form for Tenth Amendment last time and similar can be said for the three-year-old filly Fast Celt.
