13:45 Jadhlaan
JADHLAAN still looked a bit rough around the edges when second on his most recent outing at Haydock, wandering in the final furlong and handing the initiative to the winner as a result. Still beaten just half a length, Jadhlaan sets the standard in this line-up if running to the same level, so he looks sure to take plenty of beating with more improvement on the cards.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
14:20 Sandret
SANDRET shaped encouragingly when third on his reappearance at Redcar 11 days ago, doing well to be beaten only two lengths given where he was positioned (held up in a steadily-run race). He is entitled to strip fitter with that run under his belt and there is little doubt he is a well-handicapped horse. This looks a good opportunity for him to end a long losing run, especially if getting a stronger gallop to aim at in this more competitive environment.
14:55 Tareekh
TAREEKH shaped encouragingly when third on his reappearance at Redcar 11 days ago, doing well to be beaten only two lengths given where he was positioned (held up in a steadily-run race). He is entitled to strip fitter with that run under his belt and there is little doubt he is a well-handicapped horse. This looks a good opportunity for him to end a long losing run, especially if getting a stronger gallop to aim at in this more competitive environment.
15:30 Noorban
NOORBAN could be the way to go in a tricky heat. She has been in good form recently, winning at Ayr last month and then running to a similar level from 4 lb higher in the weights when second at Redcar 10 days ago. She wasn’t seen to best effect on the last occasion, giving a big head start to the winner and doing well to finish as close as she did. That performance suggests she is well up to winning more races from a BHA mark of 84.
16:00 Duke Of Hazzard
DUKE OF HAZZARD stepped up on his reappearance with a good fourth in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom on Saturday, passing the post only two and a half lengths behind the winner. He was arguably unlucky not to finish even closer, coming from further back than ideal and then being forced to wait for a gap entering the final two furlongs. A smart performer on his day, he takes a drop in grade here and really should take plenty of beating if running up to his best.

16:35 Paxos
PAXOS has taken his form to another level on the all-weather recently, recording back-to-back wins before coming up just short in his hat-trick bid at Kempton last month. The question mark is whether he’ll be able to carry on that improvement now making the switch to turf, but there is no obvious reason why he shouldn’t on pedigree. He has the makings of a useful handicapper and should continue to give a good account from a fair-looking mark.
17:05 Dubai Instinct
DUBAI INSTINCT was a shade disappointing over this course and distance last time, but he had plausible excuses and is well worth another chance to confirm the promise of his previous start here. He took a while to get going on that occasion but finished well to be beaten only two lengths, shaping as if back in top form. He is still 8 lb below his last winning mark and must enter calculations for the new training partnership of Mick and David Easterby.
