With both SPILT PASSION and Golden Lyric sharing a rating of 78, there is very little between them but the former was having her first run of the season when a bit below par at Gowran last time on soft ground and should have more improvement from that. Khlass is an interesting debutante.
17:20 – Rocky Dreams
County Down trainer Leanne Breen may strike first-time with ROCKY DREAMS, acquired after an emphatic win in a Dundalk claimer. Golden Valour will go close if recapturing the form he showed at this venue on his first start of the season. Sister Lola has a good chance if excused her latest run. Sasvana has an each-way chance on her return from a break.
17:50 – Monaasib
Irish 2,000 Guineas also-ran MONAASIB has the potential to win at this level judged on his third to subsequent 2,000 Guineas winner Poetic Flare at this venue. Pearls Galore, below her best at Dundalk on her final start last year, has good prospects on overall form. Lord Of The Lodge has looked in good shape on the all-weather in Britain and could make his presence felt. Last year’s winner Speak In Colours has not found his best form yet this term.

18:20 – Sheer Chance
When second to a stablemate in a Gowran maiden on Monday SHEER CHANCE was clear of the 76-rated third and she looks nicely treated on a mark of 71. Never Seen Before scored at the main expense of Stop On Red on his handicap debut at Dundalk in February and may again cope with that rival who has shown good form in the interim. No Patience is also worth considering on Dundalk form. The Piano Player showed little at two but could not be safely ruled out.
18:50 – Sweet Molly Malone
Though SWEET MOLLY MALONE has accomplished much less than her main rivals, Maoilin and Flagged, she promises to be well suited by the step-up to this trip and could have something in hand. The aforementioned pair deserve plenty of respect.
19:20 – Giustino
It would seem folly to oppose GIUSTINO in his follow-up bid after cantering home at Listowel on Saturday as he is 15lb well-in at the weights. Divine Celt, Knock Flyer, Dance Emperor and Anfass can at least give him something to think about.
19:50 – Lunar Power
Lots have a shout in an open-looking contest. A chance is taken on LUNAR POWER to score in a lesser grade than when he ran a cracker here last time, though stamina is a slight query. Malbas was hit with a 12lb rise for his Tipperary win but stays this trip, while Little Brother, Hidden Land and Hook Head are also in decent fettle, so can go well.
