17:30 – Rogue Tide

Coverham, Alezan and Fortune And Glory are all solid enough contenders but there are some dangerous opponents lurking on handy marks. Born To Finish and Family Fortunes are two such contenders but ROGUE TIDE might prove the answer. His Lingfield win in January looks very solid form for the grade and he should be sharper for a recent pipe opener on turf.

18:00 – Moshaawer

The well-bred Frankel colt MOSHAAWER was behind Derby runner-up Mojo Star when a close third on last October’s debut at Newbury and that form makes him the one to beat today. He takes on some interesting opponents, however, and Diamond Cutter could pose a much bigger threat on this second start having run green in a hot Yarmout maiden 12 days ago. Windsor winner Zuraig, the well-bred newcomer Judgment Call and the Cheveley Park filly Two Two Time could also go well.

18:30 – Dream Composer

The addition of a tongue-tie could see Ahlawi bounce back to form, while Razor Glass, Army Of India and Enduring could all have their enthusiasm rekindled by a return to this venue. Great News is unexposed and Night Narcissus ran well on turf last time but DREAM COMPOSER is marginally preferred. He’s up 5lb for his Carlisle success 12 days ago but the time was good and a return to 6f is unlikely to be a problem given how strong he was at the finish.

19:00 – Ice Station Zebra

The Blue Bower has conditions to suit and should go well but this may rest between Arabic Charm and ICE STATION ZEBRA (nap). The former is chasing a hat-trick and should be quick enough to deal with this drop in trip but the selection boasts some very solid sprint form, won first time out last season and represents a stable in good order.

19:30 – Quick Breath

Two-time C&D winner QUICK BREATH was a promising fourth over C&D on his reappearance in March then fared best of the well-beaten centre group at Ascot last time. He’s the pick ahead of Love Dreams, who has been running consistently well this season. Spring Romance is another to consider, while the very lightly raced 7yo Highfaluting is one to watch in the betting back from a year off.

20:00 – Signal Twenty Nine

Gary Moore’s pair Summer Valley and Thermal both have something to recommend them, while Mr Zee has two wins to his name already this year and should remain competitive. SIGNAL TWENTY NINE remains capable of further progress though and he may be able to reverse recent placings with Thermal back on a sounder surface.

20:30 – Scudamore

Blazon’s C&D win last month looks solid form for the grade and he’s a contender despite a 6lb rise. Licit, Evaporust, Brute Force and Highway One enter calculations but SCUDAMORE is on a sharp upward curve and can defy a penalty for last week’s comfortable Chelmsford success.
