This has the look of a quality fillies’ maiden with several well-bred newcomers taking on some with useful form. Dissociate looks to be the best of the latter group but today’s ground is much faster than what she encountered on debut and a chance is taken on the Ballydoyle newcomer MADONNADELROSARIO, who is bred to be a smart juvenile. The market should be interesting regarding the well-bred Radiyka and Discoveries.
Though he has gone up 6lb since, OVERHEER was second to a smart 3yo at Cork last time and will be unlikely to meet a rival of that calibre here. However, there are lots of in-form types in opposition, notably Harbanaker, Kosman, Longbourn, Dedillon and Everyhouronthehour.
This looks very open but the least exposed runner in the line-up, MALAYSIAN (nap), posted a decent seasonal debut and should have improved since, so can score. Moktaffy has smart maiden form but is becoming a bit frustrating, while Miss Myers, Indian Lilac, Eagle’s Flight and Dream Tale are all likely to go well.
SINAWANN, who holds a Queen Anne entry, could make up into a potentially classy older miler this year. He loves Leopardstown and, if he is any way right on his return, should win. Up Helly Aa is interesting down in trip but may need softer ground to be at his best while the same could be said for Saltonstall. There are some interesting three-year-olds in here, namelyForhometwo, who is on the up, and the unexposed Ebeneezer Perry.
Finans Bay split two high class horses when last seen and could be well ahead of his mark on that evidence but he hasn’t run for a while and the race-fit LUKE SHORT is preferred as a result. He acts well at the track and is interesting stepping back up in trip. Settle For Bay may not be the force of old but could run well at a price while Juyush and Tauran Shaman are also interesting.

HAMLEY is well enough handicapped on her old form and has shown enough in two starts this term to suggest she can win a race of this nature. No Say Ever, Ebony Maw and Lady Dahlia are dangers.
Aidan O’Brien has won this event in three of the last five years and, though THE MEDITERRANEAN has a bit to find with several of these, he is open to lots of improvement and can win it again for the yard. Fernando Vichi looks solid and will go close, while Flying Visit goes well here and is a danger if back to his best.
A tricky nightcap. Most have chances of sorts but BARON WILD is probably the most obvious one given he’s a couple of pounds lower than his last winning mark and went close latest. Moddy Poddle and Helvic Princess are others in form.
