13:30 – Politesse
I fancy Politesse in this one, trained by Lorna Fowler. Conor Orr takes the ride too. He ran well behind Stormy Ireland at Punchestown earlier this month. She’s a pretty good mare and I’m backing her to make a winning debut over fences.

14:05 – Pont Aven
Pont Aven has a good chance in this one. Adam Short gets the ride and he impressed last time out at Punchestown last month over two miles and four furlongs, finishing second. That form looks pretty strong. Rapid Response needed every yard of the two miles and five furlongs in her last win at Punchestown in April so coming back in trip won’t suit her. I wouldn’t put people off backing Pont Aven but I don’t think my money will be going on him. Dame De Compagnie is an eye-catching runner but I’m not sure about whether it has enough to win.

17:30 – Never Feel Blue
Never Feel Blue won well on her first start at Kilbeggan in April. It looks like she’s improved at home and she’s a tidy filly. The fact Willie has chosen to run Never Feel Blue is a tip in itself.
