13:50 – Magnanimous

Verhoyen was class from the front in a competitive handicap at the Curragh last weekend, coming right back to his best, but this represents a trickier task giving weight to a classy three-year-old in MAGNANIMOUS. Joseph O’Brien’s charge looks as though he could be tough to beat dropping in grade while fellow three-year-old Queens Carriage is respected.

14:25 – Cnodian

Herb Of Grace gave CNODIAN a good hiding at Sligo but the latter is 23lbs better off here and might just be able to turn the tables in what looks a wide-open race. Baltinglass Abbey is one of many dangers.

15:00 – Born Invincible

Adams Barbour might have been let off lightly with a 1lb rise for his latest narrow defeat but he’s probably going to be well found in the market given the form he’s in. It might be worth taking a chance on the mare BORN INVINCIBLE who looked back in form over an insufficient 5f last time and she might get back on track over this longer trip with her preferred conditions.

15:30 – Conversant

This is the more competitive of the two divisions with plenty of these arriving in decent form. None more so than CONVERSANT who could be well handicapped with just a 4lb rise to cope with for a cosy win at Navan last time and a return to 6f may see him improve again. Terra Rossa is another who will appreciate the move from 5f to 6f and Glow Worm is better than her poor strike-rate suggests.

16:05 – Rosa Dartle

A step up in trip should suit ROSA DARTLE who ran on well for second at Dundalk last time out and she arrives in better form than most of this field. The main danger could be Uno Miligre who sets the standard but looks reliant on cheekpieces sparking a revival. In The Attic would have claims on last season’s form towards the back end of the year and similar can be said for Whyzzat.

16:35 – Blackpoint

BLACKPOINT should be capable of winning handicaps off his mark. Handicap debutante Zero Turn, improver Morph Speed, the well-handicapped Magnetic North and Na Caith Tobac are all in there with obvious claims.

17:05 – The Blue Brilliant

Some nice prospects in here, notably Ulster Blackwater who shaped with plenty of promise on debut and Rosscarbery who should relish this longer trip. However, THE BLUE BRILLIANT (nap) sets a decent standard with the form of last month’s second at Naas boosted since and she’s open to progress herself.
