Ranco will be a danger if transferring his recent Flat form on this handicap debut but the safest option looks to be BLAZING SADDLES (nap), after another good effort last week.

Lost History could be a revelation now he’s joined Dan Skelton but WHITLOCK is a solid option after his Plumpton success.
15:15 Terrafirma Lady
This might not take much winning. Kentford Mallard has the best recent form but last week’s effort needs forgiving. TERRAFIRMA LADY might find conditions more to her liking and is given a tentative vote.

Although a tad disappointing so far over hurdles given the strength of his bumper form, BRIEF AMBITION should still be taking care of these. With Grove Ash having something to prove after last time it could be Force Ten who offers most resistance, and yet he would be getting a lot of weight off the selection if this was a handicap.

Richard Newland’s new recruit HIGH CHANGE made a successful start for this yard three weeks ago and looks capable of following up. Envol De La Cour is a solid alternative, but it would be no surprise to see Repetitio get involved back over a more suitable trip while Wishfull Dreaming promises to enjoy these brush hurdles and is dangerously well handicapped.
