Although Faron is going to be a short enough priced favourite he should collect in this maiden. There was a small few quid knocking about for him on debut and he ran a nice race to finish 3rd having shown signs of greenness as expected having his first run. This looks a weak race and he should shed his maiden tag for the Joseph O’Brien yard starting to come into form.

La Petite Coco was an easy winner of a conditions race at Killarney and the horse that finished a well beaten second that day, was Belle Image, who came out and franked the form by finishing fourth in the Irish 1000 Guineas last Sunday. She’s proven on soft ground and this looks a good opportunity to make it two from two for the Paddy Twomey stable.
