1000 Guineas FREE live stream with Paddy Power and TV channel details

Here's how to watch the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

The 1000 Guineas follows hot on the heels of the 2000 Guineas as the star three-year-old fillies take centre stage. The second English Classic of the season is scheduled to get underway at 3.40pm on Sunday May 2 – and Paddy Power News has all the details you need to watch.

1000 Guineas Live Stream

You can watch the 1000 Guineas – and the rest of the day’s action from Newmarket – for FREE on paddypower.com and via the Paddy Power app.

We’ve actually been showing racing from the UK and Ireland completely free and live (well, on a one-second delay) online and through the app since June 2020.

All you need to do is head to paddypower.com, log in, find the 1000 Guineas betting market, click the ‘Watch Live’ button and you’re good to go. Alternatively, just download the Paddy Power app and sign up or log in. You don’t even have to place a bet on a race to watch it. What a result.

1000 Guineas TV Channel

Okay, so you want to watch the race on your telly box instead. Fine. If you’re a UK resident then ITV carries the action, with their excellent coverage starting at 1.30pm. ITV Racing will broadcast four races from Newmarket – including the 1000 Guineas – plus action from Hamilton and Salisbury before heading off air at 4pm.

Paddy Power has been sponsoring all of ITV Racing’s live coverage since January 1. That’s every televised meet throughout 2021 as well as on-demand and catch up services, licensing rights, the ITV Racing app and the ITV7 competition as well.

Viewers in Ireland will be able to watch the same coverage on Virgin Media One.

1000 Guineas Tips

Paddy Power: “SACRED won the Nell Gwyn with plenty up her sleeve. She has loads of speed and could be a tough nut to crack.”

Frank Hickey: “This looks a particularly weak renewal this year and Santa Barbara is the one for cash the past month off the back of a maiden win at Curragh last September. Obviously connections know what they have but a lack of experience has to be a concern and would definitely put me off taking a short price. That gives the race a decent each way make up with the four places.

“THUNDER BEAUTY is the one I like and think is underestimated in the market. I got involved at the beginning of last week at the forfeit stage.”
