We’ve been showing racing from both sides of the Irish Sea completely free and live (on a one-second delay) online and via the app since June 2020.

All you have to do is head to paddypower.com, log in, find the 2000 Guineas betting page, click the ‘Watch Live’ button and you’re good to go. Alternatively, just download Paddy Power’s app and sign up or log in. You don’t even have to place a bet on a race to watch it.

2000 Guineas TV Channel

If you’d rather watch the race on your telly box then ITV is the place to be with their excellent coverage starting at 1.25pm. ITV Racing will broadcast four races from Newmarket – including the 2000 Guineas – and one from Goodwood and Thirsk as well before going off air at 4pm.

Paddy Power has been sponsoring all of ITV Racing’s live coverage since January 1. That’s every televised meet throughout 2021 as well as on-demand and catch up services, licensing rights, the ITV Racing app and the ITV7 competition as well.

Viewers in Ireland can watch the same coverage on Virgin Media One.

2000 Guineas Tips

Paul Jacobs: “I am going to go hugely left of centre by suggesting that the Roger Varian runner, LEGION OF HONOUR, takes a massive step forward here.

“He was hugely disappointing last time out when second in a Listed race at Newcastle, but they went a stop-start place that day and he will be much better suited to an out and out gallop over this eight furlongs. Any of the forecast showers certainly won’t hinder his chance here and although he needs to find 14lbs plus to trouble the best of these on official figures, I think he is capable of taking a nice step forward and is the each-way play here to do just that.”

Matt Chapman: “I am all over THUNDER MOON for Joseph O’Brien and Declan McDonogh. The Dewhurst third was exceptional in the National Stakes as a juvenile and just found the soft ground blunting his pace in the Newmarket Group 1.”

Jason Weaver: “BATTLEGROUND was always going to be a better three-year-old given his size and scope going forward. I’m fascinated to see what he looks like in the paddock before his first assignment, but I’m sure he’s not going to disappoint.”

Ruby Walsh: “I’ve always been a fan of BATTLEGROUND and Frankie Dettori takes the ride on him. You also have to respect Mutasaabeq but I’m leaning towards Battleground.”
