Unless you’ve been living under a human-sized rock, you’ll know that Paddy Power has been sponsoring all of ITV Racing’s excellent live coverage since January 1. That’s every televised meet throughout 2021 as well as on-demand and catch up services, licensing rights, the ITV Racing app and the ITV7 competition as well. The mega-deal covers almost 100 days of racing every year for you to enjoy on the telly box.

We already bring you knowledgeable insight and expert analysis from the brightest and best minds in racing like ITV pundits Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald and Jason Weaver as well as the legendary Ruby Walsh. You can expect that to continue here on Paddy Power News throughout the 2021 Cheltenham Festival with exclusive tipping columns, live updates, fast results and everything else you need to know.
Cheltenham Day 4 Tips
- Mick Fitzgerald’s best bets for Friday at Prestbury Park
- Matt Chapman’s selections for all of Day 4’s seven races
- Gina Bryce’s slick picks on Friday at Cheltenham
- Paddy Power Pundits’ Cheat Sheet for all of Friday’s races
The sponsorship is testament to Paddy’s commitment to horse racing as the world starts to get back to normal and we look forward to seeing punters back at the courses soon. While there’ll sadly be no fans in attendance at Prestbury Park for the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, you can put the kettle on, make a brew, sit back in your favourite chair and enjoy the action on ITV in the United Kingdom. If you live in the Republic of Ireland then Virgin Media One have you covered.

- … THEN CHECK OUT ALL THE WINNERS BEFORE ANYONE ELSE WITH OUR FAST RESULTS
You can expect plenty of high-class racing during the four-day fiesta including the inaugural running of the Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Chase. You’ll get to see top-quality horses like Appreciate It run in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, Honeysuckle vs Epatante in the Champion Hurdle, Chacun Pour Soi tackle the Queen Mother Champion Chase, and the hurdling epic that is the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle. Oh, and there’s also the little matter of Al Boum Photo attempting to join the likes of Arkle and Best Mate by winning the Gold Cup three years in a row.
ITV Racing set the tone for each day with ‘The Opening Show’ on ITV4 from 9.30am to 10.30am before ITV kick off the live coverage on all four days at 1pm – exactly the same time as Virgin Media One. Ed Chamberlin and co call it a day at 4.30pm so you’ll have to switch your telly box over to Racing TV for the final race on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Alternatively, you can live stream all the action for FREE on paddypower.com and through Paddy Power’s app. We’ve also got you covered with snazzy racecards containing details of all today’s runners and riders at Prestbury Park.
