The 2021 Cheltenham Festival gets underway on Tuesday with a bumper seven-race card at Prestbury Park.

The meeting kicks off with the traditional curtain-raiser – the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle – before Shishkin looks to continue his winning streak over fences in the Arkle Chase.
The first handicap of the festival – the Grade 3 Ultima Chase – is up next, followed by Tuesday’s highly-anticipated feature race.
The Champion Hurdle will see Epatante returning to defend her title but Nicky Henderson’s mare faces a tough challenge in the form of the unbeaten Honeysuckle and resurgent Goshen.

There is more Grade 1 action to come with the Close Brothers Mares’ Hurdle and the day is rounded out by the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle followed by the National Hunt Novices’ Chase.
All races on the first two days of Cheltenham 2021 will take place on the legendary Old Course, before action switches to the New Course on Thursday and Friday.
