
We had eight races to enjoy at Naas on Saturday with some big favourites being upset and others getting the job done in style. We’ve summed up each race at Naas today with the full results from Co Kildare.

12:35 Hurricane Cliff
Big SP fav Captain Kangaroo was beaten into second by Hurricane Cliff in the day’s opener. The Henry de Bromhead trained winner held off pressure from Paul Townend’s ride to extend away as the pair broke from 2 out. These two were miles clear of Caught on the Hop who was the best of the rest.
13:05 Gentleman De Mee
There was no problem for the favourite, Gentleman De Mee, in the day’s second race. The 2/7 SP fav lead at the business end and showed class to easily extend away from the field over the final 2 obstales. Don Diablo tried gamely to keep up but couldn’t match the winner’s speed and Dreamingandhoping rounded off the top three.

13:40 Elimay
SP fav Elimay got is done in the Listed race at 13:40 for Willie Mullins. The grey made her move approaching the last and motored away under a hand and heels ride from Mark Walsh. Yukon Lil did most of the chasing but Shattered Love passed inside the final 100 yards to take second.
14:15 Minella Till Dawn
Minella Till Dawn (12/1) won the 14:15 in style from a spread out field. The job was done as soon as the final hurdle was successfully navigated and Mark Walsh, making it three wins in a row, was able to glance over his shoulder and coast the Gelding home. Sovreign Gold was next ahead of Kitten Rock.
14:50 Druid’s Altar
J P O’Brien’s Druid’s Altar narrowly led this small field of four two from home and never resliquished the position. Zoffanien challenged just after the last and looked to be making headway but Druid’s Altar stayed on well to win by a couple of lengths.
15:25 Fou Diligence
Fou Diligence pounced inside the final 100 yards to pip McAlpine who had broken clear over the final fence. In a tight finish Wait Here got up into second, forcing Mc Alpine to settle for third in the tightest finish of the day.
16:00 You Raised Me Up
You Raised Me Up got up from third over the last to take this race by 3/4 of a length from Petibonome. Feelgood Island was at the head of the front three but faded into third towards the line.
16:35 Eyewintess
Eyewitness led round the bend and kicked with 1 1/2f to go. Hashtag Watt tried to stay with the winner but the Gordon Elliot trained horse was not to be caught. Hashtag Watt followed him home with SP fav Hunters Yarn in third.
